The Clyde Guide! Clyde Brown's Guide to Winter & the Holidays!
A Go-To source for all that’s fun and interesting.

The Clyde Guide!

You may have seen it, you may have heard about it - Detroit Television's newest, most exciting marketing vehicle – The Clyde Guide! This past October, tens of thousands of viewers tuned in every Sunday morning to watch Clyde and his friends on CW50 CBS. In fact the Clyde Guide was so successful that CW50 and Clyde Brown are teaming up to produce a “Holiday” Guide that will have customers knocking on your door like never before.

What is it? The Clyde Guide is a 30 minute television program designed to give viewers an up-close look at your business. The Guide is shot in a fun, fresh way that will entertain viewers, while extolling the virtues of your establishment.

Who is Clyde? You’ve seen him on television, in theaters and have heard his voice on national radio commercials for almost three decades. You’ll love Clyde and his many characters as they find their way to the most interesting and exciting places this holiday season.

Why should you advertise?
These aren’t just your typical :30 second commercials. Each will be shot as a mini-story, with Clyde or one of his “Friends” doing an interview. Your segment will become part of the show, as entertaining as it is informative.

Who is watching?
CW50 has become one of the hottest networks, airing shows such as The Simpson’s, America’s Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, Vampie Diaries, Two and a Half Men, and The King of Queens. CW50 is part of the entertainment giant CBS, Inc. CW50 is broadcast through cable, satellite, and digital converter boxes into nearly 1.5 million households, the same coverage as NBC, ABC and FOX.
And the demographics the station delivers are the ones that you’ll want to reach, young families, with solid incomes, and a desire to get out of the house and enjoy all that Metro Detroit has to offer.

Can I afford it?
We are setting our pricing at unbelievably low levels. A one-minute spot that runs all four weeks is only $800. And that includes production. That’s right for $800 we’ll come out with a television crew and a host and create a story on your business that will air four times and be broadcast into almost 1.5 million homes this Holiday season.

What other kinds of stories will be on the show?
We’ll focus on attractions like Holiday Festivals, shopping districts, sleigh rides and ice-skating. We’ll have restaurants and toy stores, clothing shops and book stores. Anything that has to do with getting out this holiday season, we’ll have it. Our only goal is to make this years season the best one yet, for our viewers and for the businesses that participate on the Clyde Guide.

What else do I get?
We’re putting together a website that will have “hot” links directly to your website, the video segments that we’ve shot, and it’ll be loaded with info about things to do this holiday season.
CW50 is also doing their part to make this a great show. With plenty of promotion, they’ll drive viewership to the show, ensuring that your segment is seen by as many people as possible.

Time is running short to take advantage of these incredibly low prices. The show will start airing on the 29th of November. There will be no better opportunity to reach this large of a targeted audience.
